Please bear with me!!

May 8, 2010

This weekend we started the first of our two house moves this year – we are now in our rented house until our new house is completed. The move went well and I think we managed to avoid any arguments which is always a bonus!

But now that we’re in, reality has struck! We have got most of the house sorted, most boxes which we are unpacking have been done apart from Hubby’s clothes. BUT, and this is a big BUT!!! We won’t have our internet connected for another 2 weeks – I feel like my right arm has been cut off. So how am I typing this post, I hear you ask? We have borrowed a web dongle which is enabling us to do the basics but seriously, its SOOOOOO SLOW!! I have been on the net for nearly an hour and so far replied to two very short emails and checked how my sales are going on ebay. I tried Twitter but it just wasn’t happening! But hey, at least I can type this quickly.

It’s funny the things that you miss when you move, I feel like I’ve gone back in time. We don’t have plumbing for a dishwasher so we’ve had to go back to doing it ourselves, booo! AND we have no wheelie bins – I never thought I would say it but I MISS my wheelie bin! We are surrounded by overflowing bin bags.

Anyway, I’m not sure which century this post will appear on my site so I better publish it now whilst I can. I will be back soon, so please bear with me!
